Target Audience

The target audience for our music video will probably be females ages 13-25. This because our artist is influential for this age group. Her songs are about the typical problems and feelings young women may experience in their lives. This also makes the audience feel like they can relate to the artist and idolize her more. We don't think that the music video will appeal to males as much because the song and video is viewed from a females point of view.

For example, looks-wise female artists such as Rihanna, Beyonce, Katy Perry etc are popular idols for young women because they are seen as beautiful and attractive by men. This is because women also want to be seen in this way.

Cheryl Cole is  an all round idealistic female pop star.

Katy Perry has a natural and curvaceous body which
attracts attention.

Rihanna's long tanned legs are a feature every girl desires.

We want our artist to be seen in similar ways to current female pop stars to attract our target audience
