This is the first verse, In my opinion it starts off fairly positive and straight away you are able to connect to the lyrics and understand the emotions and feelings that come with the words.

This is the first part of the chorus which complies with an ideal pop song as it becomes upbeat and the most memoral part of the song. Though I feel that these lyrics arent as positive in this motif because she is giving out a message saying that she wants more out of the relationship; I think a lot of young women can realte to this, drawing this type of audience to her.

The second part of the chorus goes on the another note to say she isnt happy with the relationship but she needs it as her life as she knoows it would be over. Again a lot of women can relate to this feeling of being in love, or wanting/ needing someone in their life encouraging them to buy her work.

This motif changes the feel of the song as the beat changes and her voice has been edited to sound more modern (in terms of technology)
