Lighting workshop

In this lesson our teacher discussed with us the various ways of lighting a music video in different and interesting ways to gain more marks.

This video was firstly shown to descibe different ways to light a music video. This was beneficial as it had several ideas which could be used all together or separatly which would look proffessional but no that difficult to portray.

This was the second video we were shown and this was another video on how to make a music video look good, however in a different way.

After watching these videos our teacher Emma demonstated lighting with the use of a small desk lamp and studio lights. Someone then sat in a chair facing a camera and we looked at the various ways we could change light. For example using filters and pieces of coloured paper to change the colour. Furthermore then on the camera by changing the focus by selecting who would be in the foreground and who would be in the background.
