The Saturdays – All fired up 

In this music video there are close ups of each individual person which encourages identification which was one of Goodwins points, as they help you to understand each member clearly. Also there is slow motion to add effect. Dance moves are incorporated along with the music and one of Goodwin’s points is that music videos demonstrate genre characteristics. Furthermore, quick cuts between members and tilt and pan shots are used frequently. Low angled shots to make the members seem important, along with wide angled shots to show the whole group together. There are various shots between fast and slow movement which gives a clear contrast. Another of Goodwin’s points is that there is a relationship between lyrics and visuals which is shown in the music video, as there are bright lights used but a dull black background so there is focus on the band members.  The music goes along with the visuals which is another of goodwins points as the use of water and slow motion suddenly synced together adds to the effect of being ‘All fired up’.
