Girl band
Aft5er watching several music videos released by girl bands Ive noticed most the time there is a theme to the videos e.g. Stooshe- black heart is set in the 60s, The saturdays- notorious is basewd in a work environment. Ive also noticed that in most cases they have done/ performed routines- stooshe danced on a stage, the saturdays made normal working actions in to dance move to fit in time with the beat and in most of Girls Alouds videos they dance for the entire song.
There are certain camera shots which are common in girl band videos, like many close ups of their faces, eye level shots etc. Usually the girls wear a combination of different styles throughout the video, normally a dress, casual wear and something relating to the theme of the video.
