On Wednesday the 7th November, our class watched our rough cut music video and gave us feedback. The feedback wasn’t terrible but I think we were expecting better. They liked the angles and shots used, the editing and her star persona but they didn’t think the lip syncing was effective along with the male actors acting.
Advice- We’ve been given advice to re film the parts with the boy, as he was chewing gum and they didn’t think he was taking it seriously. They also suggested we either filmed the lip syncing again or tried to edit it so that the miming we do use is perfect. (We knew that some of our lip syncing needed to be re filmed, so we were aiming to do this after our rough cut). Two of the groups thought that our filming was a bit shaky.
They seemed to really like the candles at the beginning and end, as they thought that this was really effective.
Two of the frour groups gave us 28/40, one gave us 25 and the other didn’t specify but thought it was a level 3.
